The Keel Laying Ceremony of the new 65-meter yacht (NB126) has taken place

The “Keel Laying” ceremony of the new 65-metre super-yacht, #NB126, took place at RMK MARINE Shipyard in Tuzla on 8th February 2024, marking the second part of the project’s construction phase.

 

The first phase of the project, the steel cutting, started 2 months ago with the renewed state-of-the-art CNC machines of the shipyard. In less than 2 months, our experienced shipbuilding team continued the construction process and prepared the first block of the yacht.


The second phase of the construction, the keel laying operation began under the command of Ivan Erdevicki, Designer of the yacht and also the president of the Erdevicki Yacht Design. The first constructed block of the yacht has been placed in the closed shed, where the whole construction process will be completed in.
 

Piers Flood, representing the British owner, addressed a speech on behalf of the owner, emphasizing their proud and happiness about the ceremony and the construction.

 

The 65 m steel yacht will be the first ever Polar Class Expedition Type Motor Yacht built in Turkey. It has been designed by Erdevicki Yacht Design and will be constructed by RMK MARINE, featuring seven luxurious suite cabins, allowing her 12 guests to cruise the world’s blue waters in comfort.

 

The yacht is expected to see completion during the summer of 2026.
