THE 52M ALUMINIUM KETCH NAZENIN V was recently launched from the RMK Marine Shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey. A yard representative commented that: "The process had progressed smoothly and all the various parties involved were pleased with the development," and added that: "The yacht is floating nicely, with hydraulics and electrics running smoothly." Nazenin V was purposely designed by Sparkman & Stephens to maximise performance through a wide range of conditions. Her lines are a blend of classic with graceful sheer overhangs and a contemporary pilothouse, large flybridge and clean superstructure lines. Her interior has been traditionally designed and styled by Redman Whiteley Dixon with teak
panelling and some sycamore inlay detailing and brass fittings. With world cruising in mind, Nazenin V’s owner's accommodation is unusually located amidships. The yacht's sea trials took place close to RMK Marine in Tuzla following her launch – shortly after she was delivered to her owners. RMK will remain busy even though Nazenin V has splashed with a 45m motoryacht under construction as well as the Dubois designed yachts, the Oyster 100 and Oyster 125, which are progressing in the purpose-built facility at the yard, along with a few refit projects.
