Another major refit with aft extension

Motor Yacht Gaja has been refitted in RMK Marine shipyard by having 4 meters of aft extension.

In order to have a comfortable access to sea and larger sunbathing area, the 35 meter motoryacht’s aft section has been re-designed so as to own up-to-date functionality and better aesthetics.

RMK Marine Design team has done great engineering work in order to meet owner’s wishes and the yacht is extended by 4 meters so as to have very large platform with sea transformer that provides joyful access to sea. Moreover, maindeck became delightful by having spacious sunbathing platform right at the back side of the aft seating group. In addition to those very valuable changes from owner’s perspective, it has been proven after sea trials and endurance tests that, hydrodynamic character of the vessel is much improved after extended underwater body. This task is also deeply analyzed by RMK Marine design team together with Istanbul Technical University.

Total extension work is done after 3d scanning of the aft section and produced by module generation and block erection method. As a result of extensive engineering, yacht’s aft section has been finished with minimal use of fairing compound. Aft garage is smartly designed and finished as RMK Marine standards which verifies its altitude by applying detail-oriented high quality craftsmanship in such an area which is used for utility space.
